

The Lady in Red"Sitting at the bar seeing the same old thing all around me," thinks the lady in the red hat as she takes a drag from her cigarette. It is the same bar she has gone to for the past 2 months and it was a shit hole from the start and it only got worse, in her opinion, the more she went. The other night she actually had a man ask to lick her because she 'smelt so fine' and he apparently thought she would taste as good. While she sits and drinks her vodka martini she looks down at her feet to see the shoes she was wearing, she was so happy the day she bought these shoes. She let out a big sigh as she stared longing to relive the moment of that daThe Lady in Red


Everlasting ShadowI opened my eyes to complete darkness and my ears to a pure silence that I have never experienced before. No sound or light could get in or out of wherever I was. I tried to move my hand to see if I could feel my way around the room but I couldn't move my hand, I wasn't even sure if my hand was still there. I tried to sit up and just as with my hand I couldn't move my body and I now didn't even know if I was existing, but I had to be there, right? Oddly enough, I wasn't scared, I actually felt comfortable. Something still seemed off though but not in a bad or good way, it was just kind of familiar. The JumpIt was in the in the low 70s, and slightly cloudy with a nice gentle breeze. I thought to myself, "Nice day to die." With that thought I took my first step off the ledge of a twenty-three-story building and let gravity take over, we fought for all these years and it has finally won. As the rest of my body followed, time seemed to slow down. As I passed the 23rd floor I smiled and thought to myself that I will no longer have to deal with my boss giving me crap everyday at that horrible job. I laughed as I passed the 22nd floor, thinking who will all those debt collectors have to call and threaten now? I thought of how no one could ever mThe Jump


The BirthI got the call at work that she was going into labor. I ran out to the parking lot to my car and realized I had left my keys in my office. That'll be a great story to tell my son later when he asks why I didn't get to be there for his birth. I ran back up to my office and got my keys and went back to my car. As I started the engine up, it hit me, I was going to be a father. I put the car in reverse and my stomach started to tighten with every inch I backed out of my space. As I pulled out of the parking lot onto 23rd street the question came up in my head, "How am I am going to be a father??" With every second I got closer to the hospitThe Birth
